The First Vice – Chairman of VNFU Mr. Nguyen Duy Luong visited economic models in Ha Tinh Province.

(VNFU’ website) – This morning ( 26th, August), Mr. Nguyen Duy Luong - Vice President of Executive Committee of Vietnam Farmers Union (VNFU) visited economic models in Thach Ha and Huong Khe district.  Same goes with Mr. Tran Dinh Gia – Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial Farmers’ Union.

 
In Thach Ha District, the delegation visited high technology growing vegetables and fruits model on exhausted sandy soil of coastal of Mitraco Ha Tinh Company in Thach Van Commune. Next time, the delegation went to Dam Tho’s integrated farm in Trung Son Village, Loc Yen Commune, Huong Khe District. Tho’s farm has more than 1700 fruit trees, pig production with 1.200 pigs/group, raising chickens, ducks, boars, keeping bees… with a total revenue of over 11 billion / year.

After visiting some models, Mr. Nguyen Duy Luong appreciated the achievements of Ha Tinh agriculture in recent years. In which, role of Farmers’ Union at all levels is praised in grasping government and provincial policies to encourage developing agricultural production, counseling provincial leaderships to implement Conclusion 61 of Secretariat and Decision 673 of the Prime Minister, signing the cooperation program with businesses, helping farmers to associate in manufacturing .
 
Mr. Nguyen Duy Luong stressed: Farmers’ Union at all levels should continue to promote vocational training to help farmers grasping the scientific and technological knowledge in production, animal husbandry. Science and technology is the key to success in business and production process. Next time, Ha Tinh staffs, farmers should continue to overcome the difficulties, tap the potential and promote local strengths to achieve higher results in agriculture and rural area, contributing significantly to the building of new rural, national and provincial economic – society development .
