On behalf of the Party and the State, Mr. Le Hong Anh - Member of the Political Bureau, the Standing Committee's Secretariat awarded second class and third class Labour Order for 15 individuals as officials, farmers who have outstanding achievements in the patriotic movement, period 2010 – 2015.
In the speech at the Congress, Mr. Le Hong Anh acknowledged, appreciated and welcomed the outcome of the patriotic emulation movement of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and Vietnamese Peasantry in past 5 years. 3 emulation movements have attracted a large number of participants, many production models brought high income for farmers and created jobs for rural labor. In addition to enrichment and contribution for the society, millions of members and farmers also are attending the protecting national security movement , new rural construction. These collectives and individuals were honored as typical flowers, they overcame all difficulties, got rich by themselves, shared and helped other families. Confirming the position and role of Viet Nam Farmers’ Union is the core of the peasant movement and new rural construction, contribution to development of agricultural, social security, improvement in material life and spiritual for members, farmers.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman  Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong praised achievements in the fields of economy, culture, society, security and national defense which has been achieved over the years. He also expressed his deep gratitude to the State, Party for their support and attention to Union and the peasantry in order to improve the material life and spiritual.

Chairman stressed that the Congress is an occasion to sum up the patriotic emulation movement of Viet Nam Farmers’ Union in past 5 years and draw useful lessons for the content, form, organize and direct measures, set out the direction, objectives and tasks, the movement and the commendation in the next 5 years. The Congress is also an opportunity for participants to interact, exchange, learn from best practices, experiences of good models at the local, grassroots level.
In final report on Patriotic emulation movements and commendation, phase (2010-2015), the First Vice Chairman of Viet Nam Farmers’ Union Mr. Lai Xuan Mon showed: VNFU focused on leadership and emulation movements innovation. Contents are necessary and useful with central task of the Union and socio - economic development goals of country, each locality or unit. They also met the requirements and aspirations of officers and members, farmers.
